Scenario
UnaGroup private practice, Wasaga Beach
You are a Registered Psychotherapist in a group private practice in Wasaga Beach, trained and supervised in a body-oriented approach. Una Byrne, 55, has had panic attacks since her father's sudden death last winter. Last month, with her express consent, you rested a hand on her upper back to guide slow breathing; it helped.
Today a panic attack starts mid-session. Gasping, she looks at you.
