Amrit has signed the consent form without reading it and wants to skip straight to therapy. Choose what you would ask, then see how each choice is weighted and why.

Before turning to why he came, what would you want to know to orient Amrit and establish consent?
Select as many as you consider indicated.
Inside the lab
The examination does not ask you to recall definitions. It puts you in a room with a client and scores what you look for and what you do. So does every screen here.

01Simulations
A client's situation unfolds over six to eight sections. Some ask what you need to know, some what you would do, and every selection is permanent, as it is on the day.

02Feedback
Check a section and it opens: the response to each choice, its weight from plus three to minus three, and why it carries that weight, including the options you did not choose.

03My focus
The competencies costing you most points, worked out from every case and card you answer, each with the choice that cost you, the lesson to reread, ten cards to drill and a case to practise it in.

04Progress
Each blueprint area, heaviest first, in its own colour. An area turns secure only at 85 percent or better across two days, so a good evening never counts as mastery.

05Decision diagrams
Duty to report, consent and capacity, and access to records, walked as questions, with the provision that decides each step quoted beside it.
Walk a diagramHow it works
Two questions: when you sit, and how long you have each day. Today's session turns them into a short plan for each day: cards to review, a lesson, and a practice case when there is time.
Work each case as the exam runs it, then check each section and read what every option was worth, including the ones you did not choose.
Progress shows each area of the exam moving from learning to secure. When they hold, sit a full mock exam under exam conditions.
The app
Install the CRPO Exam Lab on your phone, tablet or computer. It opens from your home screen like any other app, in its own window.
The blueprint
CRPO publishes how much of each exam form comes from each of seven areas. The cases follow those weights, and each area keeps its colour everywhere in the lab.
Browse all 63 casesMock exams
Ten cases in three hours, one of them unscored, as on the day. Nothing is revealed while you work. The form draws first on 30 cases kept out of practice, so a mock result means something. At the end: separate Information Gathering and Decision Making totals, a breakdown by area and the full key.

The CRPO exam, answeredAn online preparation platform for the CRPO Registration Examination. It has 93 original clinical cases in the exam's own format: Information Gathering and Decision Making sections, selections that cannot be undone, and every option weighted from +3 to -3 with the reason for its weight. Around them are interactive lessons, review cards, decision diagrams, a study library and full mock exams of ten cases in three hours.
Anyone preparing to sit the CRPO Registration Examination: RP (Qualifying) registrants working towards the exam, graduates of a psychotherapy programme applying to CRPO, internationally educated applicants meeting Ontario's exam and legal framework for the first time, and clinical supervisors looking for realistic cases to work through with a supervisee.
No. It is an independent preparation platform from Canada Therapy & Wellness, not affiliated with or endorsed by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Every case is original; nothing is taken from CRPO or COMPASS material.
The study library (every module, printable sheet and decision diagram), one full practice case, Amrit, with every weight and reason, and a 10-minute diagnostic across the seven exam areas, all open to everyone without an account. Everything else (the other practice cases, Today's sessions, the study plan, lessons, short sets and mock exams) comes with a subscription.
The study library, one full case and the 10-minute diagnostic are free. A subscription opens every other practice case, Today's sessions and the study plan, the learning cards and card review, the interactive lessons, short sets, My focus and the mock exams. It is billed every month or every three months, and the three-month plan costs less per month. Current prices, in Canadian dollars, are shown in the plans on this page and on the subscribe page.
Yes, any time. Open Account, then Subscription and billing, choose Manage or cancel, then Cancel subscription on the Stripe page. You keep the full lab until the end of the period you paid for, and your progress stays with your account; the library’s modules stay open to you.
Members who had an account before the subscription began are offered one free month of the full lab. Starting it asks for a payment method, but nothing is charged during the month. When it ends, the plan you chose begins and is charged then, unless you cancel before; cancel before the end, from your account, and you pay nothing.
Three fixed mocks, Mock 1, 2 and 3, each ten cases to the exam's blueprint, written only for mocks and never shown in practice. All three are open. With a subscription you can sit each one again, though a second sitting tests memory as well, because its key was shown when it ended.
Yes. The exam is offered in English and French, and the whole lab is bilingual: every case, lesson, card and mock exam is in both languages, with the French terms of the OPAO's own documents. Switch language from the header on any page.
Yes. It runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer, and installs to your home screen like an app, with no app store. Cases, cards and lessons you have opened keep working offline, and once you sign in your progress syncs between devices. The real exam is written on a computer, so sit your mock exams on one.
