CRPO Exam Lab
Feedback and privacy

What the exam lab keeps, what it collects when you send feedback, and how to have that deleted. The practice privacy policy covers Canada Therapy and Wellness as a whole, including its clinical services.
Without an account, your progress stays in your browser
The study library, one full practice case and the diagnostic are open to everyone, without an account; the rest of the lab needs an account and a subscription. What you do while not signed in Attempts, card reviews, lesson progress, your plan and your exam date are then saved only in this browser's local storage and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or using Clear all progress on the Progress page, removes them.
With an account
Signing in is with Google or an email code. It creates one account for the Canada Therapy and Wellness site, so your progress is saved and follows you to any device.
- What is stored: your email address, your name (and picture, from Google) and how you sign in; your exam date, daily study time and weekly target; and your study data: attempts and scores, mock exams, card reviews, lesson progress, reading, milestones and the takeaways you write after a case.
- Google: signing in with Google shares only your name, email address and profile picture with us. We ask for nothing else from your Google account.
- Where: with Supabase, in a database hosted in Canada (Montreal). Your data is kept private and other learners never see it.
- How it is used: to run the lab for you: to plan your sessions, show your progress and results, and keep your devices in step. We also learn from how the lab is used, including study activity and progress, to improve it and your experience and to support learners on the way to their exam. It is never sold, never used for third-party advertising and never shared with advertisers.
- Email updates: only if you say yes. Study tips, new features and the occasional special offer from Canada Therapy and Wellness. Turn them off at any time on your Account page or with the unsubscribe link in any email.
- How long: for as long as you keep your account. Delete it and everything is removed from the database at once; routine backups then age out on their normal cycle.
- Your controls: on your Account page you can delete your exam lab progress and sign out of every device. For a copy of the personal information we hold about you, email [email protected] from the address you sign in with; we reply within 30 days. Signing out leaves nothing personal in the browser. To close your account and delete everything in it, email [email protected] from the address you sign in with: we close it, cancel any subscription and confirm by email.
Questions about your account or your data: [email protected].
Read-aloud
Read-aloud (the Listen buttons) uses your browser's built-in speech: the lab sends nothing anywhere to make it work, and your speed and voice are kept in this browser, and in your account if you are signed in. A voice marked “online” in the voice list is produced by your browser maker's own service; choose any other voice to keep speech on your device.
Counting visits, without cookies
To know which pages are useful, the lab and the Canada Therapy and Wellness site count visits without cookies: the page (without anything after the “?” in its address), the site you came from, your device type and country. Your IP address and browser details are not stored; they are only mixed into a code that changes every day, so a visit is counted once and you cannot be followed from day to day. Counts are kept in Canada for 13 months. If your browser is set to Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is counted. When you arrive through a share link, its offer code and channel tag are counted with the visit and, if you subscribe, recorded with your subscription, so we know which offers work.
What is collected when you send feedback
Only what you send, and only when you press Send:
- the kind of feedback, your message, and a rating if you give one;
- your email address, only if you choose to add it so we can reply. It is optional;
- the page you were on and, for a report about a question, which question it was;
- the version of the site, and your browser's description of itself, to help reproduce a fault;
- a random id created in this browser the first time you send feedback, so that reports from one person can be read together. It is not linked to your name or to anything else.
Please do not include anything from the actual CRPO examination, or any client's information.
Where it is stored and how it is used
Feedback is stored with Supabase, in a database hosted in Canada (Montreal). The table cannot be read from the website: the site can add a report and do nothing else. Feedback is read by the people who build this platform and is used only to fix and improve it. It is not sold, shared for marketing, or used to contact you unless you asked for a reply. Supabase, like any web service, keeps short-lived technical logs of requests.
Asking for deletion
Write to [email protected] and we will delete what you sent. Quote the reference shown after you sent a report, or the id below, and we can find every report from this browser without needing anything else about you.
