CRPO Exam Lab

Tour

A tour of the CRPO Exam Lab

Every part of the lab, as a learner sees it. Each picture is a real screen, worked through by a sample learner.

01Practice cases

Cases in the exam’s own format

63 original cases. A client’s situation unfolds over five to eight sections: Information Gathering asks what you would want to know, Decision Making what you would do. Each selection is final, as on the day, and shows what happens next.

02Weights and reasons

Every weight, with its reason

Check a section and every option opens: its weight from +3 to -3 and why it carries that weight, tied to CRPO’s Professional Practice Standards, the Code of Ethics, the Competency Profile and Ontario law. The options you did not choose are explained too.

03Mock exams

Full mock exams, timed

Ten cases in three hours, one of them unscored, as on the day, drawing first on the 30 cases kept out of practice. Nothing is revealed while you work. Then your Information Gathering and Decision Making totals, a breakdown by area of the blueprint and the full key.

04Study plan and Today

A plan built back from your exam date

Give your exam date and the time you have on a normal day. Today’s session sets out what to do, in order: cards to review, a lesson and a case, sized to the minutes you have, with how far through your plan you are.

05Lessons and cards

Lessons and review cards that hold

Each lesson asks a few questions before you read, then teaches the module in short pieces, each with a check. What you answer comes back on review cards at spaced intervals, so it is still there on exam day.

06AI study guide

A guide that coaches, without the answers

Ask about the page you are on: what a section is asking, what to weigh, why a choice cost points. It helps you think a case through without handing you the answer, and during a mock exam it will not help with the case, just as on the day.

07Progress

Progress you can trust

Each area of the exam blueprint, heaviest first. An area turns secure only at 85 percent or better across two days, so one good evening never counts as mastery, and every weak area comes with the next thing to do.

08English and French

In English and in French

Every case, mock, lesson and card is in both languages, and the French uses the OPAO’s own words: Collecte d’informations, Prise de décision, the official titles of every standard and competency. Switch with FR at the top of any page.
