Scenario
GerryPublicly funded community counselling agency, Oshawa
You are a Registered Psychotherapist at an Oshawa agency. Gerry, 58, lost his plant job to a shoulder injury, has a disputed WSIB claim and waited eleven months to be seen. He left both earlier sessions early and would not discuss his marriage.
He arrives late, coat on, speaking first: 'You're what, thirty? Never worked in a plant. The last one did the same nodding thing. I'm wasting my time.'
