EPPP Exam Lab · in planning

EPPP preparation, if you want us to build it

We are considering a second exam lab, for psychology candidates sitting the EPPP in Canada and the US. It does not exist yet. If enough candidates join the list, we will build it.

No launch date, no price yet, and no real exam questions, ever. Independent of ASPPB.

    The EPPP is changing

ASPPB has announced one integrated exam from fall 2027. This is its published timeline; your board decides what applies to you.

    1. Now to fall 2027

Part 1 (Knowledge), and Part 2 where required

Part 1 is 225 multiple-choice items with four options each, 175 of them scored, in 4 hours 15 minutes. ASPPB recommends a scaled score of 500 for independent practice. Part 2 is required only by some boards.

    2. Spring 2027

Beta test of the integrated EPPP

Open to eligible first-time candidates whose board takes part, from March 1 to April 30, 2027, with results expected after standard setting.

    3. Fall 2027

      The integrated EPPP

One exam for knowledge and skills across six domains: single-best and multi-select questions, scenario sets, and audio and video. ASPPB's beta notice describes 175 scored and 40 unscored items in up to 5 hours.

    4. April 1, 2028

      The integrated EPPP only

Candidates who have not passed Part 1 or Part 2 by fall 2027 can retake it until March 31, 2028. After that, only the integrated exam is given.

    What we would build

The approach behind our CRPO Exam Lab, rebuilt for the integrated EPPP. A plan, not a promise: your answers on the form shape it.

    1. Original questions in the integrated format

Single-best and multi-select questions and short scenario sets, written from ASPPB's published content areas, never from recalled exam items.

    2. The reasoning behind every option

Why the best answer is best, and why each other option falls short, so a wrong answer teaches something.

    3. Spaced review and a plan from your exam date

What you miss comes back until you know it, paced to the day you sit, as in our CRPO Exam Lab.

    4. Timed mock exams, scored by domain

Full-length practice under exam timing, with your results across the six domains so you know where to spend your time.

    5. English and French

The same questions in both languages, on a phone, tablet or computer.
