How we use AI

AI that does the slow work, and leaves the judgement to you

Our products use AI where it saves clinicians real time or helps them learn, and keep it away from client information wherever that is possible. Here is exactly what it does, where it runs and what it never does.

    Four commitments

They hold in every product that uses AI, today and as new ones arrive.

    • You stay the clinician

AI drafts, transcribes and explains. It does not decide. Every note is yours to correct and sign, and every suggestion is a prompt for your judgement.

    • Private by design

Where client information is involved, the AI runs on your own computer. Where it is not, we send only what is needed to answer, and nothing is used to train a model.

    • Always labelled

AI output is marked as AI wherever it appears: drafts carry a banner asking you to check them, and the study guide wears an AI badge.

    • Grounded in official sources

The exam content follows CRPO’s published standards, competency profile and exam format, and is checked against them, never against third-party prep material.

    Product by product

What the AI does in each one, and where your words go.

    Runs on your computer

    Olive Grove

A Olive Grove clinical review under a banner that reads: AI draft, review for accuracy before you use it. It lists the therapist’s strengths, areas for growth and evidence-based recommendations for the next session. Made-up session.
    • What it does. Transcribes the session live and again, more accurately, afterwards; drafts the note in the format you choose; offers short live cues from the approach you are using while you work; and gives a supervisor-style review of the session.
    • Where it runs. On your Windows computer: the speech recognition and an open language model run inside the app. Sessions, notes and the AI keep working without an internet connection.
    • What leaves the computer. No session content. To check its licence, the app sends a licence number, a coded computer identifier and its version.

    Explains, never answers for you

CRPO Exam Lab and the AI Guide

    • What it does. The AI Guide answers questions about the exam, the standards and the lab, coaches you through a practice case, and explains an option’s weight once the weights are on screen. On this site it also answers questions about our products and services.
    • What it will not do. Help with the case during a mock exam; give therapy, a diagnosis, or legal or immigration advice. If someone writes about a crisis, it shows 9-8-8 and 911 at once.
    • Where your words go. To Anthropic’s Claude, in the United States, only to answer you. Not used for training, and not stored by us: the conversation stays in your browser tab. The text of the page you are on goes with your question unless you untick “Use this page”, and never from a running mock exam or your account pages.
